How to Delete the Registry Key on the Samsung Blackjack

The Samsung BlackJack is a Windows Mobile phone. Phone settings are stored in the Windows registry. Deleting and editing registry files is very simple when using a registry utility such as CeRegEditor.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • CeRegEditor

    Deleting keys

  1. Step 1

    Connect your BlackJack to your computer via USB connection. Wait until it is detected by your computer (you will be notified via pop-up).

  2. Step 2

    Download and launch CeRegEditor.

  3. Step 3

    Select your BlackJack phone model in the CeRegEditor software. This will bring up your BlackJack's registry.

  4. Step 4

    Use the registry window on the left to edit and delete keys. Do so by right clicking on the registry key you want to delete and selecting "delete".

Tips & Warnings
  • Make a copy of your registry before you do any edits. This will allow you to restore it in the event of any problems.
  • The registry is a very delicate part of your Windows Mobile Device. It is possible to cause serious damage to your phone by delete an important registry key.
