You Tube users can search for videos on the website by typing information into the search box located on the You Tube homepage. The entries that you type into these and similar search boxes in Internet Explorer, or IE, will then be saved in these boxes. If you've been using You Tube on a computer that isn't yours, you may wish to remove the information in these boxes. This can be done by deleting the IE form data or the entire IE browsing history.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open IE.

  2. Step 2

Click "Safety." Then, select "Delete Browsing History." A window will open.

  3. Step 3

Click on the "Form Data" box in order to place a check mark inside of that box. This will delete the information you've entered into the You Tube search box as well as other search boxes while using IE. If you wish to delete your entire IE browsing history, you can click on the other boxes in the window other than the "Preserve Favorites website data" box.

  4. Step 4

Click "Delete" to complete the process.
