Sometimes it becomes necessary to check your computer's web history. This is especially true if you have children. Keeping track of your children's computer usage is a vital step in keeping them safe when online.

Open your web browser by clicking on the icon on your desktop. This is most likely Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

Click the "history" button on the lefthand side of your screen. This may also be in the upper middle of your screen, depending on which browser you use.

The history button will give you a list of pages that have been visited. You can then click each page to view it.

If you would like to track all Internet activity, you can purchase a program that runs invisibly on your computer. Only you will know it is there. Programs such as SoftActivity (see References below) allow you to track any activity that takes place on your computer.
