How to Meet a Girl Online

If you're shy or just have trouble meeting girls in real life, this guide is for you. Know where to look and what to do to find that girl that's right for you.

1. First you'll need to decide what you want to do. Do you just want to talk to girls, do you want to meet someone for dating, are you looking for a relationship?

   If you're shy, I recommend just talking to girls first.

2. There are plenty of sites on the web to talk to and meet girls. If you're looking for younger girls, a teen site like espin.com is the place to go. Myspace is good too. If you're looking for a slightly older girl, 20 years or more, try a free dating site like plentyoffish.com. You can also check the personals at yahoo.com.

   If you're willing to pay money, you could also try a pay site like match.com, singles.net, or eharmony.com.

3. Once you're on a site, you should set up a profile. Include the picture of yourself. Try to put up at least three or four pictures of yourself. When picking a picture, make your profile picture (the one that everyone will see) a nice one of yourself with a smile. Do not include other people in your profile picture.

   Make your other pictures show you being yourself. Girls like this and want to see that.

4. Fill out the rest of your profile, thinking of things that make you interesting. If you can't think of anything, then take a look at other people's profiles for inspiration.

5. Once you have a profile set up, then do a search for a girl you'd like. If you're looking just to talk, they can be from anywhere, but if you're looking for more try to keep it local so the driving distance isn't too bad.

6. E-mail or if the site offers the service, instant message the girl. This is great practice for talking to women. If you're scared, that's ok, you just need to do this to get practice.

• Instead of saying "What's up?" say "Whatcha up to?" Girls almost always respond to this with what they're actually doing, instead of NM

• Ask her about herself, what she likes doing. Try to find things you have in common

• If you meet a girl who you want to do more than talk to, try to meet her sooner than later.

• If a girl says she loves you before you've even met, run!

• Don't get depressed if it doesn't work. You may just be on the wrong site, looking in the wrong place.
