Things You'll Need:
- patience
- letting child feed his or her self .

Step 1
I dont' want this ! I'm not gonna look that wayYour toddler /child will only eat certain foods, he barely nibbles on other foods, and he may flat out refuse to try new foods. You maybe at your wits end by now , but don't worry that he/she may not be getting the nutrients that they need.

Step 2
Oh boy do I have to ?Picky eating is part of your child's role as being a toddler. He will eventually grow out of it and his finicky ways. If , however, you notice that your child is losing weight and seems very weak and irritable talk to your pediatrician . Here are some tips that may help you with your picky eater. Always give your child healthy options. That way, even if he picks and chooses ( and he picks) from what you serve it will be healthy and nutritious. If he refuses to eat even the healthy foods you've place before him.

Step 3
Letting your child help prepare foods are fun !Change from finger foods to foods that your child can practice eating with a spoon, or vise versa. You can get your child to help you in the kitchen . You can buy pasta with different shapes and sizes. You can maybe use a cookie cutter and make sandwiches of different shapes such as flowers, or stars. Say for instance , if making meatloaf you can puree some of your green veggie and add it to the meatloaf , they will never know that they are eating veggie. Jokes on them right ? Yes you can add pancake batter with small amounts of banana or strawberries and that is a delight. Or ask would you like fruits with your oat meal . These things really help and the more you show at mealtimes just how good foods really taste they will want to sit and enjoy the good foods too. So showing your enthusiasm for good foods do help Good Luck.
