How to Have a Hawaiian Staycation

If you can't go to Hawaii for vacation, bring Hawaii to you.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Decorate your house with luau party suplies.

  2. Step 2

    Invite your friends over for a luau party one day.

  3. Step 3

    Go swimming.
    Go to a lake, pool, or water park at least one day of your staycation.

  4. Step 4

    If the weather's good lay out on lounge chairs and get a tan one day. If the weather is bad, do it inside with a sun lamp. Use sun screen. Too much sun is bad for you.

  5. Step 5

    Watch some movies that take place in Hawaii.

  6. Step 6

    Go out to a tiki bar at least one night. Have some umbrella drinks.

  7. Step 7

    Stock up on Hawaiian food.
    Buy pineapple, guava juice, papayas, mango, coconut.

  8. Step 8

    Check out youtube or your library for hula dance lesson videos. Learn some steps.

  9. Step 9

    If your city has a greenhouse botanical garden, visit it one day. If not, treat yourself to a tropical house plant from the local nursery.

  10. Step 10

    Play some Hawaiian games.
