Start Minesweeper that comes with windows. This can be opened (Win XP and before) from the run command after pushing the start button (usually in the lower left corner)

Press, in order, X, Y, Z, Z, Y

Hold down the two shift keys for 3 seconds

When you move the mouse over the game field, a white pixel will appear at the very top left of the monitor. The pixel signifies a safe move. When the pixel disappears, it indicates a mine.

XYZZY has significance in that it was the secret password in the original DOS text adventure game colossal caves. This was before windows was invented and all of us had to use DOS commands.

A magic word in the Colossal Cave Adventure game that lets you move instantly between distant places if entered at the right time. Because the game would respond with "Nothing Happens" if entered at the wrong time, the word was used as a mnemonic for a no-op (no operation) instruction in Data General's AOS operating system. It is also a popular variable name in programming.
