I will teach you how to prepare a 5 minute French vanilla milkshake that takes the edge off of those hot summer days. Quick, easy, and absolutely delicious, with more than half the fat of already prepared milkshakes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups vanilla soy milk (light or regular)
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 packet of carnations French vanilla instant breakfast.
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla coffee creamer ( International delight is preferable.)
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter.
  • 1 tablespoon toasted wheat germ.
  • 1 blender
  • 1 large glass
  • 1 tablespoon
  • 1 measuring cup
  1. Step 1

What makes this recipe easy is you just pour all the measured ingredients into a blender and 5 minutes later you get the best milkshake you have ever tasted. Before we get ahead of ourselves lets start with the six ice cubes, place the six ice cubes into the blender. Believe it or not there is a system to follow so that the milkshake blends efficiently. You do not want to add the dry ingredients first because your milkshake would not mix correctly.

  2. Step 2

So we start by adding all of our wet ingredients. Add in your 2 cups of vanilla soy milk. you should hear a brisk crackle from when the milk hits the ice cubes. Next we add the two tablespoons of coffee creamer. after the milk and creamer have been added using a spoon stir the two liquids together for a few laps.

  3. Step 3

Next we must systematically add in all of the dry ingredients. Start with adding your carnations instant breakfast package. You may want to stir it into the milk concoction as you add. Next we will add the Toasted wheat germ in the same fashion. And finally we finish the mixing process by adding the creamy peanut butter.

  4. Step 4

Once all of your ingredients are secured in the blender you will want to place the cover on top and blend your mixture on high for 2 minutes. once it is blended if you hear any chips of ice rattle the side of the blender press the pulse button after the mixture has settled. It is your own discretion however, whether you want your milkshake smooth and frothy or rough and gritty.

  5. Step 5

After your desired blending has completed you will want to pour the milkshake into your glass drinking cup and enjoy the refreshing milkshake that perks your senses. Once you have finished your delicious milkshake you will probably want another so you can repeat if desired. If you are completely satisfied you can clean up your blender and measuring utensils.

Tips & Warnings
  • To can add a cherry to the top of your milkshake to add another dimension to your splendor.
  • Though the time is limited i suggest that you put on some mood music. Ravel' s Bolero always put me in the mood for milkshakes but i find that many people prefer something a little more summer, so try the Beach Boys.
  • Drink slowly to enjoy longer and prevent brain freeze.
