A Hawaiian room should reflect the beauty of the Hawaiian islands. Make your room a special one by decorating it with accessories that are typical Hawaiian.

    Choose the right colors to decorate your Hawaiian room
    Hawaii is a lush green paradise. Therefore, green and brown and strong colors like red, orange, and yellow are a good choice.

  2. Step 2
     

    Polynesian and Asian style
    The Hawaiian culture is mainly influenced by the Polynesian and Asian culture. Thus, Polynesian and Asian elements are a must.

  3. Step 3
     

    Pictures of Hawaiian flowers and plants
    Plumeria and ginger, for example, are two of the typical Hawaiian plants / blossoms that you can find everywhere.

    Buy a Hawaiian quilt
    There is a special quilting technique that you can find only on the Hawaiian islands.

    Listen to Hawaiian music
    Listen to CDs with good Hawaiian music. A popular artist is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole ('IZ').

    Leis are not only a nice gesture to welcome guests, you can also decorate your Hawaiian room with them. Many people in Hawaii decorate their home with dried flower leis.
