Things You'll Need:
- Ceramic Bisque Twilly Troll
- Acrylic Paint
- Paintbrushes
- Bowl of Water
- Paper Towels
- Spray Sealer
-
Step 1
Begin by first purchasing the unfinished Twilly Troll in ceramic bisque, which can be found on ebay by doing a search for "Ceramic Bisque Twilly Troll".
-
Step 2
Basecoat in 2 sections. All of the fur is to be painted a pastel teal, and his tummy is painted a flesh tone of your choosing.
-
Step 3
Use an antiquing solution that is several shades darken than the pastel teal that you used, and brush over all the fur, making sure the darker antique color is getting down in the crevices of the detail of the fur.
-
Step 4
With a damp sponge, wipe the antique teal back off, and make sure that you leave the darker color in the crevices. The more you wipe, the more that will be removed, so be careful that you don't wipe too much off.
-
Step 5
Drybrush the pastel teal color on the ears, and around the toes, and also on the wart spots on his nose. Drybrush white on the tips of the fur.
-
Step 6
Paint the fingernails and toenails whichever color you prefer. I chose a terra cotta color.
-
Step 7
Paint eyes, Teeth, and lips. Spray with a spray sealer, and add a few seashells in his hands for a cute touch.
