Things You'll Need:
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 large banana, sliced diagonally
- 1 pint blueberries, divided
- 2 large nectarines, sliced
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup watermelon balls
- 1 cup seedless green grapes
- 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
- Dark sweet cherries, with stems, for garnish
- For the dressing:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 Tbsps honey

Step 1
Bananas will not brown in put in citrus juiceIn bowl stir lime juice, water and sugar until sugar dissolves. Add sliced banana; set aside.

Layer fruit in a bowlIn large serving bowl, preferably glass, layer strawberries, nectarines, blueberries (reserve 1/2 cup for garnish),reserved bananas, watermelon and grapes.

Lime sugar syrup keeps fruits freshPour lime sugar syrup over fruits; cover loosely and chill for two hours.

Honey gives extra flavor to the dressingMeanwhile, make the Creamy Lime Honey Dressing as follows: Using a food processor, blender or mixer and a small bowl, whirl together sour cream and small curd cottage cheese until smooth. Stir in lime juice and honey. Chill.

Garnish with stemmed cherriesTo serve, spoon an assortment of fruits and berries, with some of the syrup, into dessert bowls; top with Creamy Lime Honey Dressing. Makes 6 generous servings. Garnish with reserved 1/2 cup blueberries,kiwi fruit, and stemmed cherries.
