I love to make this Bellini sorbet. Bellini is a Italian drink that takes prosecco and peach together to make a incredibly refreshing and tasty drink. You can use a ice cream machine for this but I also have done it without a ice cream machine and it was wonderful.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • the juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 peaches
  • 1 cup prosecco
  1. Step 1

In a sauce pan make a simple syrup out of the water, lemon juice, and sugar by boiling on high. You will need to heat the sugar, water, and lemon juice until they form a syrup. Test this by placing a spoon in the mixture. If the syrup coats the spoon then you are ready for the next step.

  2. Step 2

Add the peaches and prosecco. Cook for five minutes.

  3. Step 3

Puree this mixture into a blender.

  4. Step 4

Pour the bellini sorbet mixture into a container and put in the freezer.

  5. Step 5

Every half hour take the sorbet out and stir with a fork until you have a nice soft frozen bellini sorbet.

  6. Step 6

If you have a ice dream machine you can use this for your bellini sorbet. It will come out smoother.
