There are several natural ways to de-worm your companion animals.Some people prefer not to give their dogs or cat anything that is not natural. Purchase food-grade diatomaceous earth, this is the only type of diatomaceous earth that is safe to ingest. It is widely used for livestock and poultry to rid the animals of internal parasites.

Mix some diatomaceous earth in with your pet's food. Mix 1/4 of a teaspoon of diatomaceous earth for a small dog, for larger dogs you need to add about a full teaspoon. You don't have to be precise, just close to this amount.
