In this case you can usually talk to the farmer and even visit the farm itself. This option is popular with those who want to know and see exactly where their grass fed beef is coming from. -

Shop Farmer Markets
We usually think of farmers markets as being the place to go for fruits and vegetables. In some markets, however, you may be able to buy grass fed beef or at the very least talk to a farmer who sells it. -

Stick with Your Local Grocery
In response to consumer demand, some grocery stores and chains are beginning to sell the beef of grass fed cattle. Check with grocery stores in your area to see if this is the case and, if not, have a conversation with the manager and request it -

Shop online.
It is not always possible or convenient to buy the beef from grass fed cattle locally. In this case it is possible to buy it online. Even large retailers like Amazon sell grass fed beef. (See information in the resources section below.
