The winter weather will soon be approaching. While winter may still be far, it’s good to know how to prepare your car for the winter months. So let’s get started, just follow the steps below to continue.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The things you will need are a blanket, windshield wiper fluid, pin, wire brush, ice scraper, a shovel, and anti-freeze.

  2. Step 2

Set up your car. Find a level place to work. Open up the hood.

  3. Step 3

Find the reservoir that holds the windshield wiper fluid in your car. Pop the cap and fill it up with windshield wiper fluid. Replace the cap.

  4. Step 4

Locate the windshield spray nozzle. They are usually on the hood or arm of the windshield wiper.

  5. Step 5

If it’s clogged, use a pin to clean out the holes.

  6. Step 6

Locate your battery. Make sure you have a tight connection. If you see any corrosion, loosen the battery cables and clean off the corrosion with a wire brush. Reattach the cables when finished. Replace battery if it cannot hold a charge or is weak.

  7. Step 7

Things you might want to put in your trunk are an ice scraper, a shovel, and a blanket.

  8. Step 8

Add anti-freeze and water to your radiator. So that’s it, you are done.
