Copper Bracelet

Copper bracelets are almost as much fun to wear as they are to make. All you need is some copper wire and a pair of pliers. Follow these steps to learn how to make your own attractive copper bracelet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 18 gauge copper wire
  • Needle nose pliers
  1. Step 1

Start with 18 gauge copper wire. For more intricate designs, try going up to 20 gauge copper wire. The smaller copper wire will allow you to make more detailed and complicated creations, and will be easier to bend.

  2. Step 2

Use the needle nose pliers to bend your copper wire into the designs you'd like. Loops, coils, flowers, spirals and circles are all easy designs that look great when sculpted out of copper. Try looking for other designs on the internet that you can use for ideas.

  3. Step 3

When you reach a length that is long enough to fit around your wrist, snip off an extra 3 or 4 inches or copper wire. Wrap the bracelet into a circle and bend the last bit of wire around the beginning of the bracelet to complete the circle.

  4. Step 4

If your copper bracelet gets tarnished over time, you can clean it off with a soft steel wool pad.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the bracelet is big enough to slip over your hand
