Research has found a connection between the food we eat and the alertness of our minds. These types of foods have been dubbed "brain food" because of the effect they have on brain power. If you want to boost your brain power, try consuming clinically proven brain food.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first thing you should do in order to boost your brain power with brain food, is to make certain that you are getting enough omega 3 fats into your diet. Actually, you need to make sure to consume enough essential fats, but you should concentrate on the omega 3 fats. Fish is known to be brain food because it is loaded with omega 3 fats. If you don't like fish, you can opt for omega 3 supplements.

  2. Step 2

Make sure that you are getting enough protein into your diet. The neurotransmitters in your brain are made up of protein, so it stands to reason that protein will help to improve your brain power. Try to incorporate a protein packed meal into your diet each day. A hamburger patty, drained of the excess fat, and minus the bread would be a good brain food to eat for lunch; so too would be a simple can of tuna.

  3. Step 3

Just like everything else in your body, you brain needs to be well hydrated to do its job properly. Along with the consumption of the aforementioned brain food, you should make sure that you drink enough water each day in order to maintain your brain power. If water deficiency is really bad, your brain tissue can become damaged.

Remember, try to eat foods commonly known as brain foods in order to maximize your brain power.
