• Internet connection

1. Go to the website: http://www.facebook.com

2. The signup page is at the website's front page. Enter your first name, last name, your email address, a password, sex, and birthday in month, day, and year.

3. Click Sign Up.

4. You should receive a confirmation email within the next minute or so in your email that you provided.

5. Go to the message Facebook provided in your inbox and click on the confirmation code.

6. You are done! Go back to your Facebook profile and you should see that your account has been activated and is ready to use!

7. Find friends and family by inputting your personal information such as location, school, and basic information so that you can find them and they can find you.

Tips & Warnings

• Selecting Remember Me in the front page is a good way to never hassle with logging in and out.
• Joining a group, making an application, and finding friends is relatively easy, and finding that select group is easy with the Facebook search box located in the upper right corner of your profile. This search box is very handy and available at all times.
• Beware of strangers and people you don't know. People you don't know personally are people you can't trust.
