Things You'll Need:
- Fast Internet Connection
- Level 20+ Runescape Account
-
Step 1
Gaining Target Likelihood: To get a target in Bounty Worlds, target likelihood must be increased. This is shown at the right hand corner of the Runescape screen, and is in the shape of a cross-hair. The longer you stay in the Bounty World, the cross-hair slowly turns red. When it is completely red, which takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes, you will be given a target.
-
Step 2
Gaining Estimated Potential: Estimated Potential is shown on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. It ranges from 0-100%. The higher your earned potential (EP) the better drops you will receive from your target. The only way to gain EP is to be risking at least 25k in non-member worlds and 75k in member worlds. However, it does not matter where in the Bounty World you stand. Therefore if you are risking 75k in level 1 wilderness, only a small range of players can attack you.
-
Step 3
Preparing for Fight: The target you are assigned is going to track you down too. Be prepared for a decisive fight. Bring your best weapon and the best armor you can afford to lose. Non-members should bring lobsters and swordfish, while members should bring monkfish and sharks. To aid in the battle, bring potions that raise your combat stats. Just in case, bring teleport runes.
-
Step 4
Fighting your Opponent: At some point, you will meet up with your target. Try not to battle him/her in a multi-combat area. This way, there is no way a team can kill you. Do not stay in a safe zone for more than 10 minutes. This will cause you to lose your target, and you will have to start again from step 1. Try your best to kill your target, and take the drops that they drop. Any artifacts dropped can be traded in to Nastroth in Edgeville bank for a large some of cash. There is a chance that they will drop the armor that they are wearing, as well as some expensive armor. Be sure to bank directly after a kill.
