This refreshing martini is PERFECT for Sunday brunch, bridal shower or anytime the weather is hot!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Glass pitcher
  • Lemon vodka
  • Prosecco--I like Riondo
  • Hagen Daaz lemon sorbet
  • mint leaves
  • melon ball scoop
  • sheet pan
  • wax paper
  1. Step 1

Line the sheet pan with wax paper. Take your melon ball scooper and make as many balls of sorbet as servings you are going to make--hint--definitely make more than you think you need. Freeze sorbet balls over night.

  2. Step 2

To makes 2 servings --chill 2 martini glasses
    1 cup prosecco
    2 Tablespoons lemon vodka
2 small melon ball scoops of lemon sorbet
    Fresh mint leaves

  3. Step 3

In a small glass pitcher add the vodka, prosecco, mint leaves and stir together. Place sorbet ball in a martini glass and pour drink over sorbet. Add additional mint leaves if desired.

  4. Step 4

To make a pitcher of lemon sorbet martini's

    Glass pitcher
    1 bottle prosecco
    1/3 cup vodka
    6 lemon sorbet balls
    bunch fresh mint

Same steps as above. Make these as close to the time you plan to serve them as possible to keep a nice fizz in the porsecco.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also use any flavor of really good quality sorbet. The mint leaves work well with the lemon sorbet but can be overpowering with other sweeter fruit sorbets.
  • Try coconut sorbet with pinapple skewars.
  • Raspberry sorbet with basil leaves.
  • Dip rim of martini glass is water, dip in ultra fine white sugar, place sugar sugar side down on the same sheet pan you used for the sorbet balls and freeze.
