Make Homemade Sangria
Make Homemade Sangria

Sangria is one of the many sought after alcoholic drinks. Sangria goes well at any party no matter if it is a house party or a house-warming party. Sangria is welcome at any function. Here is how to make it

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 2 1/2 tblspn of sugar
  • 1 bottle of dry red wine
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • pitcher
  • 1 1/2 - 1/2 rum
  1. Step 1

First make sure you have all your materials. Take your fruit, and make sure they are well chilled. Some like to chill and add a lime as well, do so depending on how you like sangria--I recommend you try to make sangria traditionally before you add your own variation

  2. Step 2

After the fruit is well chilled, slice the fruit into thin slices and place in your glass pitcher.

  3. Step 3

Take the 1 1/2 cup rum or vodka (or less depending on how strong you want it to be), and add to the pitcher. Add the sugar in as well. Chill in the refrigerator (not the freezer) for 3 hours to let the flavors mix in.

  4. Step 4

When it comes time to serve, crush the fruit up a bit for flavor, pour the wine in with the orange juice and stir!

Tips & Warnings
  • Try adding different fruit for different array of flavors~!
