  1. Step 1

    When the budget gets tighten the best way to save is going to be cut the food bill. Consider making spaghetti 1 time a week and eat on that for 2 days. That should trim the bill down. Clip coupons, if you know someone get the Sunday's paper, ask them for the coupon. That should save you at last $1.50.

  2. Step 2

    Consider combining errands with a friend at least once a month. That should save you at least $3 plus stress. Another great way to save money is to buy things on eBay or even craigslist, if you have to spend it at least go a lit cheaper. Bring a lunch to work, you will save at least $5 a day plus gas, a true savings. Make tea instead of soda, you will save money and health.

  3. Step 3

    Another big huge area to trim is gifts. Make your own holiday gifts. You can knit, crochet, paint, or bake own gifts. For the price of one gift you can make 2 or 3 for the same value. Shop around and compare prices with your friends, you would be surprised with the amount you would save.
