How to Build a Shuffle Board Table
Shuffleboard is a great hobby for an individual of any age. This game can be played solo or with a group on separate teams. Either way it is a great way to learn consistency and accuracy. You should be sure to keep your board away from windows, because the sun will dry out the wax and the board will need to be waxed more often. Shuffleboard is played with a wooden puck that slides across a long wooden board. At the end of the board the different points are numbered and the scores are given. Be careful so your opponent doesn't knock your puck off one of the high-scoring numbers.

First, purchase wood and cut it to the length you desire. You are going to need to cut the legs, frame and tabletop.
-
2
Next, start the legs and frame. You should cut them down and build them depending on how large or small you would like the table. You should do this first so your table has something to rest on.

After that, you will need to work on the tabletop. Sometimes the top is already made the way you like it, and other times you will need to sand it down to create a more finished look.

4
When these steps are finished, you should scrub down your table and sand any spots that you have missed. Be sure to thoroughly work on the legs to avoid slivers or splinters.
-
5
Hammer your nails into the board to attach the board to the legs. Paint your scoring numbers on the table. The furthest number should be 4, followed by 3, 2 and 1 being the closest.

Later, coat your table with wax. This will allow the pucks to slide naturally, and you can enjoy your game!
