      Remove the console. Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws on the ends of the front of the console. Locate the four screws that attach the console in the back and remove them as well.

      Lift the console from the washer and let it rest behind the machine. Do not let the wires become over-stressed.

      Remove the two brass clips where the console was attached. Insert a screwdriver between the top of the washer and the clip. Lift up and toward the rear of the washer to release the clips.

      Disconnect the lid switch connector plug from the washer. It is located on the top of the washer where the console was located; it looks like white casing.

      Lift the washer lid and get a grip between the tub and the cabinet frame. Tilt the cabinet toward you, then back to the wall to disconnect it from the bottom.

      Lift the entire cabinet over the tub and place it out of the way.
