Things You'll Need:
- 3/4 cup crisco
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 3/4 cup unsifted all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 bags Hershey milk chocolate kisses

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.This dough is going to be on the dry side so do not worry if it is not real creamy. Using electric mixer cream crisco,sugars till fluffy. add eggs, extracts and beat well.

add flour, baking powder,salt,nuts and mix until blended. Chill for one hour and while you are chilling the dough go ahead and start taking foil off of kisses. Form dough into 1 inch balls. Press each around kiss until completely covered.

Bake for 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet(do not over bake). Will turn a golden brown. i start checking them at about 10 minutes because all ovens are different. Cool on wire rack. Makes 3 1/2 to 4 dozen cookies.
