Things You'll Need:
- Bottom/Top coat
- White nail polish
- Nail Polish(Pink or beige)
-
Step 1
Start submerging your fingers in warm water, with a soft soap.
-
Step 2
Dry your hands and use a cuticle pusher to push your cuticles (try not to use cuticle cutters, because if you are not knowledgeable you cause infections.
-
Step 3
With a nail filer, shape your nails. A French manicure will look better on a nail that is less round and more square. Than use a buffer not only to make the ends of your nails smoother, but also to buff away any ridges on your nails.
-
Step 4
Now its time to polish your nails: First use a base coat, Than start to polish in the first coat of polish. Its important to polish each nail with three strokes (use less polish, by brushing it on the side of the bottle). Start in the middle close to your cuticle and polish with strokes that are long and quick. Let it "dry" and repeat. By the time you are done with your last nail, your first one should be ready for the second coat.
-
Step 5
For the French part, you should buy a small brush specially made for French manicure. I use a small artist thin brush. In one secure stroke, brush a horizontal line at very tip of your finger with the white nail polish. For the finish touch brush the top coat. Let dry and your done. Oh feel free to have your family pamper you while your nails dry, as you cant do anything while your nails dry.
