First of all, you’ll have to be in California for the first part of this test. The roll-out of the new GMC ebay program started on August 11th and is scheduled to continue until September 8th. If Click and Drive is successful it will likely go on longer and similar sales will be opening up in more areas around the country.

When you first go onto ebay, you will need to look under ‘Cars and trucks’ on the top bar. The special event is not all that obvious. You’ll then need to look under the ‘GMC California Event’ where you will find a listing of new vehicles you can bid on.

Or you can go directly to the new shopping site on gm.ebay.com where the Click and Drive program is set up.

You can bid and see what kind of deal you can buy your car for or simply take the “Buy it now” price.

Feel free to ask what ever questions you want, and enjoy checking out new 2008, 2009 and select 2010 models. This is the first opportunity to actually bid and buy a car in the internet like this, so an effort is being made to make it as clear and easy as possible.
