Things You'll Need:
- Corned Beef Brisket, Potatoes, Onion, garlic Powder, Sea Salt, Pepper, White Wine, Oil.
-
Step 1
Diced PotatoesHomemade corned beef hash is a real treat and fairly easy to make. You will need 1 average size corned beef brisket, 4 peeled and diced baking potatoes, 1 Spanish onion diced, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon sea salt, 1 tablespoon black pepper, ½ Corn oil, ¼ cup white wine.
-
Step 2
Spanish OnionCook brisket according to package directions. You may consider boiling brisket for about 20 minutes prior to baking. Boiling the corned beef prior to baking can remove some of the saltiness and promote tenderness.
-
Step 3
After brisket is fully cooked, remove from oven and cool for about an hour. After brisket is cooled you will need to cut the entire brisket up into small-diced size pieces of meat. In addition, you want to do the same for the potatoes and onion. You will then add the Corn oil to a large casserole or deep baking dish and place diced onions and potatoes into a pre-heated 350-degree oven. Bake contents for about 45-50 minutes or until tender.
-
Step 4
Remove potatoes & onions from oven and allow sitting for about 20 minutes. In a large mixing bowl combine diced brisket, potatoes, onions, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Last ingredient to add is the wine. Place in a 350-degree oven for 20 minutes and serve.
