Celebrity mug shots exist in the public domain. They are treated just like the mug shots of ordinary citizens, this is why celebrity mug shots are so easy to find on the internet. Maybe it is so entertaining to browse celebrity mug shots because this is one area of a celebrity's life that they cannot keep from the public eye, despite their wealth.

Go to the Smoking Gun website (I've included a link in the Resources section below). Navigate to the Celebrity Mugshots section of the website by clicking on the Mugshot Mania link on the site's home page.

Choose the type of celebrity who you are looking for from the different categories on the page, such as Sports, Hollywood, Historical, etc. Before choosing a celebrity, however, you may even want to bookmark this page, so that it will be easier to find in the future.

If you aren't able to find the celebrity mugshot on The Smoking Gun web page, try to find the image by using the Bing search engine (the link is below). Just do an image search with the celebrity's name and the word "mugshot". You should always use Bing for your image searches because it is much quicker to scroll through thousands of images than on Google which only allows you to see a few images at a time.
