The worst part about doing laundry is folding clothes. Folding clothes, and specifically shirts, can be a very tedious and time-consuming act. Here's how to quickly fold a shirt.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A shirt
  1. Step 1

    First, lay down the shirt you are going to fold, face up. Make sure the sleeves are out, too.

  2. Step 2

    Next, take one hand and pinch one side of the shirt, about halfway down its length. You need to hold your hand there the whole time.

  3. Step 3
    Fold over to the bottom
     
    Fold over to the bottom

    Next, move your other hand parallel to the edge of the shirt, up to the shoulder part of the shirt. Pinch it, and fold it down to the bottom of the shirt. After you make the the fold, make sure your grab onto the bottom of the shirt, as well. Make sure your other hand is still holding onto the first part of the shirt. When you make your first fold, it will go directly over where your other hand is.

  4. Step 4
     

    Now, pull the first hand from underneath the fold. You should be able to lift up the shirt, and one sleeve should be dangling to the ground. Place the sleeve on the ground, and fold the rest of the shirt over so that it is nice and folded. Congratulations, you have quickly folded a shirt.
