How to Get A Cheap Oil Change

Being a vehicle owner can be very costly sometimes, so the when on a budget we need to find a bargain any chance we can. Most oil changes range from $25-$35 without a coupon or special. I will show first time car owners, students, single women, and those who are laid off from work how to get a great oil change for almost nothing.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a friend or family member
  • trust
  1. Step 1

The first thing you need to do is call your local high school. Almost every high school has an automotive department. If yours don't then find the closest trade school or community college. Call them and ask what day they do light service work for the community. Then schedule an appointment.

  2. Step 2

After having your appointment scheduled, find a friend or family member who can follow you there so you can drop the car off. This way the students don't feel rushed and can do their job accuarately and get a good grade.

  3. Step 3

When you return to pick up your car, take some old t-shirt, rags, and towels. The teacher, students, and school will appreciate the donation and will probably even take more off of your bill. Depending on where you live you should get your oil change for about $5-$10.

Tips & Warnings
  • The money for these services go towards getting more supplies for the students.
