Things You'll Need:
- A brain
-
Step 1
Omaha is a game that is somewhat similar to hold'em the difference is you are deal four cards rather than two. In omaha you can only use two cards from your hand to make the best five card hand
-
Step 2
Here comes the hi/lo part the way you make a low hand is by holding a hand that contains five cards under eight such as A 2 3 4 5 which would be the best possible low holding you could have
-
Step 3
The reason for the low hand is the person with the best low hand will win half of the pot while the player with the best high hand will get the other half
-
Step 4
Be careful not to get quartered By getting quartered i mean if you have the best low hand at the river but someone else also has the same hand as yours you will only get a quarter of the pot because your half will be split in half with the player that has the same hand as yours the same rules apply to the high hand but is much less likely to happen
