So you refuse to upgrade to Windows Vista, but you love and want that Mac like dock that Vista has. This is a very common request and a very simple request to solve.

Things You'll Need:

  • Windows XP
  • Rocket Dock
  1. Step 1

    The Mac dock is one of the most favorite features of the Mac. Windows Vista went ahead and basically copied the dock. We all know that Vista is not a great operating system and many PC users have refused to upgrade. Getting a dock for your XP operating system is as simple as downloading an application

  2. Step 2

    Go to rocketdock.com and download the dock software. The download will take roughly 20-40 seconds depending on your internet speed

  3. Step 3

    Once the software is downloaded install the application.

  4. Step 4

    Go to the newly installed software and run it. You will now have a dock for Window XP.

  5. Step 5

    Click the Dock Settings icon to configure which skin you want to use, the location of the dock, and the icon sizes.

  6. Step 6

    You now have a dock for windows xp. May your life running XP be much happier
