1. First, turn on the Palm Pre and open a program where you can type on the keyboard. This can be email, web browser, or any other text entry program on the Palm Pre where you wish to turn on caps lock.

2. To turn on the caps lock, press the "↑ Shift" button twice. Doing so will enable the caps lock on the Palm Pre. Everything you type now will be in capital letters until this feature is turned off.

3. To disable caps lock on the Pre, simply hit the "↑ Shift" again and caps lock will turn off. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to cycle between caps lock on and off.
