Saving photos online is really easy but some pictures are copyrighted and have disabled the ability to get the image. Still if you want to get that image this article will tell you how to save a photo from a website.

      First go to the website where the photo you want to save is at and try right clicking on the image. If its copyright protected a message might pop-up telling you that you are not allowed to save the photo. If the image is allowed to save then right click on the photo and click on Save Image As. This should open a window up to save the image and then you select the folder where you want the photo saved to. The best place save photos or images is in your pictures folder or your documents so you don't forget where it was saved to.

      If the photo is copyrighted but you still want to have it for your own personal use then you can do a Print Screen or download a screen capturing software that will allow you to capture any site and then you can go in and cut out the image using a photo editing software like Photoshop. If a photo is protected do not reproduce the photo or use is to commercially in anyway. However if you just want a photo for you desktop or to paste on a binder this is an easy way to save protected photos from a website.

      Save the file as the correct file type to prevent any errors. Don't save a .jpg as a .gif or it might not look the same or just not open up at all when you try to access from your computer. You can also right click on a photo from a website and hit copy image which will copy just the photo you right clicked on and now it can be copied to documents like Microsoft Word and Photo Editing Software Programs. One other way you can save a picture similar to this copy image method is to click the mouse and hold it across the image until it highlights. Once its highlighted hit Control + C or Edit then Copy. To save that photo from the website you will then need to paste it into a Photo Editor first.
