How to Make the REAL Jello Shots

I've seen recipes for jello shots on this and other websites, but this is how to make the REAL jello shots!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Small box of jello
• Water
• Liquor
• Small plastic cups

1. Bring one cup of water to a boil, stir into one packet of jello as directed on package. Tip: I mix the shots in a large 4-cup measuring cup. The handle and spout make it easy to pour.

2. Add one cup of liquor, your choice. Stir very well. Tip: I use vodka in most of my jello shots, but some other good combinations are cherry jello with rum, cranberry jello with Captain Morgan's and lime jello with tequila (use 1/2 cup of tequila and a 1/2 cup of water, as otherwise the taste will overwhelm the jello).

3. Pour into 2 oz. plastic cups, available from If Its Paper and other party or restaurant supply stores. The cups have lids, which make the shots easy to transport. Refrigerate until firm. Makes 12-15 shots.
