How to Crochet an Easy ZigZag Blanket

I'm always looking for easy crochet patterns that are fun to do. This is one of those patterns. This is a great pattern for a beginner. It's also great for the expert. You can use one color or multiple colors as seen in the picture.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• yarn
• crochet hook

1. Stitches used:
   Ch= chain st
   sc= single crochet
   dc= double crochet

2. Chain 230

3. Row 1
   Working in the backs of sts, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across. Then turn (229)

4. Row 2
   Working in both loops, dc in the first 2 sc, "skip next sc,'sc in next sc,dc in next sc' repeat from ' to ' 4x's. sc in next sc, 3 dc in next sc, repeat from ' to ' 5x's, sc in next sc, skip next sc " to " to across to within the last 2 sc. dc in last two stitches. turn.

5. Row 3
   Dc in each of the first 2 dc " skip next sc, 'sc in next dc, dc in next sc ' repeat from ' to ' 4x's, sc in next dc, 3 dc in next dc repeat from ' to ' 5x's, sc in next dc, skip next sc" repeat from " to " across to within the last 2 dc, dc in last two dc. turn.

6. Row 4 until you feel it's done
   Repeat row 3

7. Last Row
   ch 1, sc in each of the first 2 dc,'skip next sc, sc in each of next 11 stitches, 3 sc in next stitch, sc in the next 11 stitches, skip next sc' repeat from ' to ' to across to within last 2 stitches, sc in each of last 2 dc. Fasten off.
