Step 1
Browse around the flea market. A flea market can have a huge variety of items that you can buy for you home. You may need to go when there are more seller, like on a Sunday, to view more items. It could take several visits to the flea market to get some items that you want. A flea market does not always have the same sellers so there is a good variety. When you do go to shop though, get a vehicle that will carry the household items that you are buying.
-
Step 2
Buy household furniture on sale when a store is going out of business. Don't wait to the last days of the going out of business sale because the good items may be all gone by then.
-
Step 3
Search online for places such as ebay or craigslist for inexpensive household items. Read the condition of the products you will be buying carefully. Also ask as many questions before you buy.
-
Step 4
Buy household items on wholesale. When you buy wholesale items you pay less because there is no middle man that brings up the price.
-
Step 5
Shop at a thrift store to save money on furniture. Thrift stores have many different types of items you can get for your home such as books, furniture, tables, toys, tables, and much more. Call ahead to see if they have any specials. They are a store after all and sometimes have monthly specials.
-
Step 6
Another popular way to buy items for your house is to go yard sale shopping. People are always trying to get rid of older items from their home to make room for new things they buy. So take advantage of these yard and garage sales to buy inexpensive items.

on 8/18/2009 I love second hand store, thrift stores, and flea markets. Plus if you know something is hot and you find an amazing price, but an extra one to sell online. Great way to make a few extra dollars.
