How to Set Color in Fabric

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 quart (4 cups) cold water

      Combine the 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 quart of cold water together in a bucket. If you want to use a sink, that is fine as well but the sink will be unuseable for 24 hours.

      Once you have combined the white vinegar and cold water, put the clothing item into the mixture.

      Let it soak for 24 hours.

      When the time is up, take the clothing out of the mixture and wash it as you normally would in the washing machine.
