A spiral wire bracelet uses something called memory wire, a steel wire that is designed to remain coiled even when it is stretched out. This quality makes the wire perfect for making bracelets that beads stacked onto the wire. These bracelets are easy to make, are great for wearing and giving as gifts.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a coil of memory wire, available at craft stores
  • beads in your choice of colors
  • jewlery pliers
  • charms
  1. Step 1

First, measure out how many coils you want in your bracelet. This can be anywhere from 3 coils to ten coils, depending on how many beads you have available for stringing. At one end of the wire, make a loop using the pliers to hold the beads in place. Wrap the end of the wire around the base so that no sharp portions are sticking out.

  2. Step 2

Start stringing on the beads. You can also string on charms, interspersed at regular points. Once all of the beads are strung on, you can make a second loop at the finished end with the pliers, tucking in any loose wires that might otherwise be sticking out. Rearrange all of the loops in the wire so that they stack naturally on top of each other.

  3. Step 3

When you put on the bracelet, simply stretch out one end of the bracelet and loop it around your wrist.
