Things You'll Need:
- Yahoo account
-
Step 1
You can use an article you already have or you can write one specifically for this tip.
-
Step 2
Go to yahoo.com. On the left hand side of the page you will see a column with a bunch of links. The very first link should say "Answers" Click on that and it will take you to the Yahoo Answers home page.
-
Step 3
Here you will see a search bar that says "search for questions" type in a question that is related to your article. For example if you article is on cleaning dog fur from your carpet, then you may want to type in "how can I get rid of pet hair from my carpet.
-
Step 4
When you hit the search button it will bring up a bunch of questions people have asked that are similar to the one you typed in.
-
Step 5
Always check the date that it was posted because yahoo automatically closes the question from future answers after 4 days.
-
Step 6
When you find the question that some one has asked that is related to your article click on it. It will take you to another page with the question at the top and then any answers that people have already posted. Right underneath the question should be a blue link that says "answer question" click on it.
-
Step 7
Now you should be at the next page that has an empty text box that says "your answer" This is where you want to put your link to the article along with an explanation of what it is and why it would answer their question.
-
Step 8
EXAMPLE "Here is an article that I wrote for ehow.com about cleaning dog hair." I hope this helps.
[Put ehow link here] -
Step 9
Make sure you tell them that they do not have to sign up or join anything to view the article.
-
Step 10
once you have typed up your answer, highlight the all of it and right click and copy it. This way you can find more questions of a similar nature and you will not have to retype your answer, you can just paste it.
-
Step 11
When you are all finished click the blue link that says "Preview" at the bottom of the page. This will show you how your answer will look. It also gives you a chance to proof read it one more time. Once you are satisfied, click "Submit" and your answer will be posted.
-
Step 12
The person that asked the question will see your link along with anyone else that has a similar question. This will help drive more people to see your article.
-
Step 13
Yahoo only lets you answer 20 questions a day. The person who asked the question can also judge which one is the best answer. Using this system for my ehow articles I have been voted best answer one a few of the questions I have done.
-
Step 14
I hope this helps you get more page views and more earnings! Please leave a comment and rating if you have the time, I always try to return the favor. Thank You

on 9/29/2009 I've used Yahoo answers before, to promote my free movies blog and free games blog. And it really works to get more traffic to any link posted. Most times, I post a teaser tip of some kind along with my link, so as to appear more knowledgeable on the subject. Readers of Yahoo answers are more than happy to follow a link if they think it leads to more free help. Thanks for all the information you've provided. Had not ever considered using Yahoo answers for my eHow articles. Fingers crossed it will work for me too. And, of course, five stars for your article.
