Flowerhorn or Lou Han is a hybrid Childs. The Breeder hybridizes various cichlids such as Midas Cichlids, Convict Cichlids, etc so they get the beautiful fish

Lou Han has various color like red, blue, and green, yellow, white and combination. Some Lou Han has black pattern at the body. The shape is like number, alphabet or Chinas Alphabet. Some fish has lucky alphabet in this body. The price of the lucky fish could reach thousand dollars.

The performance of Lou Han is similar with common Cichlids. The size of body could reach 25 cm like Oscar Cichlids.

Things You'll Need:

  • A glass aquarium 100 x 50 x 75
  • aquarium equipment : water filter, aerator, rock, and water plant
  • fish food : pellet and worms
  1. Step 1

    Provide at least you need a glass aquarium with size 100 x 50 x 75 cm. You can also care Lou Han at the pool. You can put some fish. Unfortunately, the pool makes your beautiful Lou Han unseen.

  2. Step 2

    The water should be warm (around 80O F), the water should soft, and the PH should neutral

  3. Step 3

    This fish easy eater too. You can give live food or pellet. The fish like small fish like gold fish, platy, sword fish molly, etc. The fish is fussy eater. You can give small fish, pellet, shrimp, worm, bloodworm, etc. You can change the food so the fish will not be bored.

  4. Step 4

Tips & Warnings
  • Like their ancestors, Lou Han is an aggressive fish. You cannot put another fish or Lou Han at the aquarium even a male could attack the female.
