Traditionally, Labor Day is the considered the end of summer. Labor Day is the day that many celebrate by hosting parties with family and friends. If you are hosting a Labor Day function and want to do something different being by creating your own Labor Day Invitations.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer Card Stock Vellum Paper Pictures or Clip Art Glue Ribbon Scissors Hole Punch
  1. Step 1

    Select a Light Brown card stock and have it cut 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. For your convenience and to make sure the card stock is cut accurately, have a copy center cut it for you.

  2. Step 2

    Select a wallet size picture of a tropical island, a beach or your own family vacation and glue it to the card stock.

  3. Step 3

    Select a white translucent vellum paper and print your Labor Day party information onto the vellum paper. For the text color use black and for the style use a fancy bold font.

  4. Step 4

    Cut the vellum paper 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. For your convenience and to make sure the vellum paper is cut accurately, have a copy center cut it for you.

  5. Step 5

    Punch two holes at the top of both the velour paper and the card stock. To make sure the card stock and velour paper are whole punched accurately, have a copy center do it for you.

  6. Step 6

    Assemble your Labor Day Invitation with the velour paper on top off the card stock and photo.

  7. Step 7

    Select a brown satin ribbon and cut the ribbon approximately 7”. Thread the ribbon through the two holes from the front to the back. Then thread the ribbon back through the opposite holes from the back to the front and carefully pull the end of the ribbon.
