Improve your indoor air quality and the quality of your life with 3 common household plants.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Areca Palm
  • Mother In Law's Tongue
  • Money Plant
  • Dirt/Soil
  • Hydroponics (optional)
  • Planters
  1. Step 1

    You will need to purchase the 3 plants i have listed in steps 2-4 at your local plant garden, plant farm, or home depot type of store. All three are very common plants and easily attainable. Lets get started.

  2. Step 2

    The Areca Palm (Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens) - This plant removes CO2 from the air and converts it into oxygen. You will need 4 plants per person living in your home. Areca requires heavy watering and wiping/cleaning of the leaves.

  3. Step 3

    The Mother In Law's Tongue (Sansevieria Trifasciata) - This plant converts CO2 into oxygen at night. You will need 6-8 of these plants per person. This plant also needs a lot of watering and cleaning.

  4. Step 4

    The Money Plant ( Epipremnum Aureum) - This plant removes formaldehyde and other volatile chemicals from the air. You will need 4 of these plants per person in your household.

  5. Step 5

    These plants are very easy to take care of. Just remember to treat them as they treat you. Leave the plants outside at least 2 months of the year in comfortable weather. Remember to give them plenty of water but not let them sit in a pond of water and they will be fine.
