If you want to make yourself known in the anthill of the Internet, writing an article with quality content is a good idea and a way to promote your business.

  1. Step 1

    Find a title, make a keyword search, keep it short and interesting, use short words and maybe one larger and more intriguing word

  2. Step 2

    Write a 1-2 sentence introduction, your intention, your personal experience

  3. Step 3

    Create the article's body. Brainstorm and write down seven sentences about your topic. Separate them in paragraphs. Write two or three sentences around every paragraph. Get around to a conclusion. Make a keyword search and review the text. Is it interesting ? Do you like it ?

  4. Step 4

    Write a Resource Box. Say who you are, your experience, introduce a http://www.yourself.com link or an anchor text, promote your unique product and say why it is unique, call to action, tell them to buy your product and offer something for free (ebook, newsletter, give a contact address (email, phone number)if you want to be contacted directly.

  5. Step 5

    Publish your article on the social web sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keyword Search is important for SEO (you can use the free Google Keyword Tool)
  • Do not overdo the anchor texts and HTMLs, search engines do not like it
