Step 1
Crush 6 aspirin tablets into a fine powder. Use a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon. Do not use coated aspirin, it doesn’t crush as well as regular aspirin.
-
Step 2
Add ½ of a teaspoon of water and ½ of a teaspoon of lemon juice to the powdered aspirin. Mix to form a paste.
-
Step 3
Apply the paste to your calluses. Place your foot or hand (depending on where your calluses are) into a plastic bag. Make the top of the plastic bag snug, but not tight around the top. Place a towel in hot water, as hot as you can comfortably tolerate. Wring out excess water and wrap around the plastic bag. Leave on for about 15 to 20 minutes.
-
Step 4
Remove the towel, take your hand or foot out of the plastic bag. Use a pumice stone to easily remove all of the hardened callused skin. Wash your hand or foot and dry. Apply a good moisturizer. Repeat as needed.
