Here are a few fantastic ideas for jazzing up vanilla ice cream and vanilla frozen yogurt too(for the savvy). Each step is a recipe below:

ONE; Using an ice cream scoop. scoop two scoopfuls into a bowl.
Add a tablespoon of blueberries or strawberries. Top with a teaspoon of whipped cream. If you do not have any of those two fruits, than simply use a flavored preserve. That grape jam your looking at, yes you can use that too. -

TWO: Serve your vanilla ice cream with a few slices of bananas and sprinkle the bananas lightly with a dash of brown sugar.

THREE: Serve you vanilla ice cream/frozen yogurt with cubed fresh mango. Cut the mangoes into cubes.

FOUR: Serve your vanilla ice cream/frozen yogurt with slices of fresh peaches. You can substitute for the canned peaches but omit the juices from the can.

Five: On a heated waffle drop one to two scoopfuls of the ice cream/frozen yogurt and top with fruit of your choice.

SIX: Take a small glass cereal bowl (or something alike) and run hot water throughout the bowl. Use you tap water for this, it does not need to be scalding hot all you want is a little heat. Have one can unsweetened or sweetened apple filling. Scoop two scoopfuls of vanilla ice cream into the heated bowl. Add one to two tablespoons of the apple filling top with a dash of cinnamon.
