1. Children: If you would like to help children - call your local school, recreation center, homeless shelter, church, neighborhood community center. They will also have room for a volunteer.

2. Seniors: If you would like to help senior citizens – call your local assisted/senior living facility, church, mental health office, senior centers, meals on wheels. They are always looking for a friend and companion.

3. Animals: If you would like to support animals – call your local humane society, visitation farms, Vet office, pet stores. Even consider find a senior with a dog and walk it for them. Animals need love too.

4. Sick/Ill: if you want to help those that are sick – call your local hospital, nursing home, church, senior center, your doctor’s office. People who are sick are especially in need of a loving heart.

5. Administrative duties – If you feel you want to help out in an office setting – call homeless shelters, community centers, hospitals. Everyone could use a helping hand.

6. Theater – Most theaters use volunteer ushers, administrative workers, reservations, phone sales. Here is your opportunity to spread the word about live theater.

7. Don’t really know – many cities/counties have volunteer offices that can offer a wide range of opportunities.
