My dog loves cheese. I mean he really loves cheese! This is an easy treat recipe that will make your dog a cheese lover too! It takes a little time, but is inexpensive and easy to make! My dog can not get enough of these tasty doggie treats.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1 3/4 cups cheddar cheese 1 stick margarine
  1. Step 1

Grate all of the cheddar cheese and soften the margarine to room temperature.

  2. Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, mix all three ingredients together. Make certain they are well mixed. The dough should be stiff.

  3. Step 3

Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

  5. Step 5

Take teaspoons full of the dough and place them on a greased baking sheet. Flatten each drop and shape them any way you like. I prefer to make long biscuits myself.

  6. Step 6

Bake for 15 minutes or until they are both firm and brown. Allow them to cool completely. Keep them in a covered container or in the refrigerator. Give one to your dog!
