Commercialism is on a constant rise in America and around the globe. Marketing teams are always looking for ways to get their product out there, and television is a great spot for advertising. Writing a commercial isn't as hard as you think as long as you use these tips and tricks.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Keep the time frame in mind. Most commercials are about 28 seconds long.

  2. Step 2

Make sure you get your point across while being memorable. If people don't remember the commercial, it's a safe bet they can't remember the product either.

  3. Step 3

Don't put too much fluff. Make sure you don't over exaggerate and keep the commercial short and sweet.

  4. Step 4

Branch out and do something unique. If your commercial is just like the three before it, no one is going to pay attention. Add some edge to it to get it noticed.

  5. Step 5

Remember your budget. It's easy to get carried away with your writing, but make sure your commercial idea isn't going way over budget.

  6. Step 6

Make a clear statement with your commercial. If people know what you're getting at then they'll be more likely to remember what ever it is you're selling.
